The Material is a 5 piece female-fronted rock band from Los Angeles, CA founded in 2007 by front-woman Colleen D’Agostino. With an impressive resume including MTV performances, songs on the video game ROCK BAND, a theme song licensed to MTV Australia’s Freshwater Blue, and multiple national tours, the band continues to deliver heart-felt music “With a powerful, commercial sound that could challenge the likes of Paramore..” (Music Connection Magazine 2011).

>With Beating Hearts

With Beating Hearts is the new electro-pop side project by Colleen D’Agostino and Jon Moreaux of The Material. The self-titled EP “With Beating Hearts” will hit the airwaves on October 11, 2011 and was previewed by the release of their single “My Only Enemy” by way of a music video on September 19th. Fans anxiously await more clues from the husband/wife team but the media reassures that “Still, the EP shares enough DNA with The Material that existing fans should have fun seeing the efforts of D’Agostino and Moreaux from a different angle, and it just might serve as a gateway drug for bringing in new fans as well..” (Beatweek Magazine 2011)
